Slotline Golf Clubs Remain In Market After Sale

After 20 years as a leader in the golf putter market, Slotline golf clubs are still available following the company's sale in 2005 to Flightline, a company based in Canada. With five new putter designs on the market, Slotline golf clubs expects to continue its progress into the worldwide golf market, with the experience and support of Flightline.

Heel-to-toe weighting on the company's MPS series of putters make them easy to use for the average golfer and are priced at what the company believes is right for the market of weekend warriors looking for a quality putter with which to improve their game. Many will agree that spending hundreds of dollars on a driver that will be used perhaps 14 times on 18 holes of golf, or less, does not make sense when they spend $20 on a cheap putter which is going to be used on every hole on the course, a minimum of 18 times.

The MPS series name is based on the fact that Slotline golf clubs has sold over a million putters in its history and the new weighted putters provide the inertial needed to make the club easy to swing. From hollow back designs to mallet putter, the MPS series has a club to fit the needs of most every golfer. With other golf products already presented by Flightline, the acquisition of Slotline golf clubs will take them deeper into the golf market on a global basis.

Name Remains For Brand Recognition

When Duke Duclos, founder and owner of Slotline golf clubs decided to remain and design at least five new putters, he believed he could devote more time to creating a better club when he did not have all the other worries of running Slotline golf clubs business. He can stay away from production and the business end of the business and concentrate strictly on the designs of new putters.

Flightline not only purchased the designs of Slotline golf clubs, but also the rights to use the names on existing clubs as well as any developed in the future. By maintaining the name, the company's products will continue being known in the golf world as one of the best-known putters on the market. Maintaining the name as well the quality manufacturing procedures will keep Slotline golf clubs on top of the market.

Slotline golf clubs also worked with Butch Harmon in developing instructional videos to help the average golfer improve their game while promoting the newest putters to hit the market.
